SSL Content Visibility
Click one of the EICAR logos below to download either a COM, ZIP or TXT file version. The files are downloaded from a Microdasys SSL web server. If your content security devices do not block this download, then they can not detect any malicious code in SSL encrypted data streams. If you have already purchased SCIP SSL Content Proxy or you downloaded a trial version, you can use this test to confirm proper configuration. If SCIP is correctly configured, you will receive the usual "Virus Detected" message from your Anti Virus software and the download will be blocked.
This test will download the EICAR test file to your system. The EICAR test file is the security industry standard virus test pattern and is recognized by all Anti Virus products. EICAR is not a virus or harmful in any way. For more information about EICAR visit www.eicar.org.

Invalid Certificate Visibility
Invalid certificates pose a major security risk. Users are conditioned to ignore security warnings from the browser and with the click of a button can proceed to untrustworthy web sites. At the same time, they establish an uncontrollable tunnel that circumvents all gateway content security devices.
